I don't have much of an opinion on it, since this was one of the first years that I hadn't seen most of the nominees. All I can say is Ratatouille as Best animated film=yes. Namely, Viggo Martensen as the biggest baddest of the year, Denzel Washington as best actor, and Eastern Promises as best movie. EDIT Unless Cloverfield came out in December, then it should win for pretty much all categories. It was a complete snobbish snore fest. They tried to get people to watch it with Miley Cyrus being there, and her being interviewed by Barbara Walters. Then people realized that was the only interesting aspect of this year's Oscars, and the 2008 broadcast ended up having the lowest ratings in Oscar history.
