I like that story, it gives a view of abortion from a very personal, professional standpoint. Many people who have opinions on abortion know nothing about it firsthand.

I used to feel the same about abortion, that it may be considered immoral by a lot of people but hell it saved lives, but I think adoption is a better alternative, depending on the circumstance.

Adoption doesn't always work out and pardon the expression but adoption is like choosing the mystery prize, it might be a genius child but it could be the sack-of-crap from the bad gene pool and who's mom had to give the child up legally or so she could keep doing god knows what.

I dunno, but it was in there. It doesn't matter dude, if it prevents a woman from having to COMPLETELY change her life when she isn't ready for it then I support it. Putting up a kid for adoption, I don't know what kind of stress that is on the parent but if it was me giving my kid up, I couldn't do it. Adoption is about the same as saying "fuck, I don't want this shit. You have it." If you have a child, bringing it into this world it is your responsibility as a parent to raise that child. In my belief, the soul is only validated as "alive" when the air of the world enters the lungs of the body, not a cell begins meiosis.

If that was directed at me, I agree with you, I was just pointing out that the urethra leads to the small intestine, not the vagina.

Hmm...pretty good story, it does change the way I look at abortion now.

Before any assumptions are made, within the past few months I already made clear that I am for abortion if it concerns a special medical circumstance... that could kill the mother. I'm not talking about social Darwinism and just killing the baby if there's a chance (keyword: chance) they can be downs or autistic something.

I'm definitely pro choice. I do think it's a bit selfish though.
