I don't know what a "chav" is, but what help is going to do complaining about it on a thread? Is it going to make you feel better that everyone else doesn't like something you don't like? I'd like to see that figure proven. Chavs are more of an England thing, and I've heard alot about them, kinda mixed reviews. From what I've assimilated they're like 'wiggers' from the US, except they listen to techno/house music instead of rap. I honestly think I would prefer a chav over a wigger, atleast I could be sure that I could take two or three of them on my own.

i hate chavs. My friend Simon got attacked by a group of Chav`s (thugs that wear sports clothes and hang around in big groups) recently while we (me, my girlfriend and his friends Luke and Amy) were on our way home, they shouted obscenities at him and because he chose to ignore them rather than turn and face them, it seemed to make the situation worse.

They followed us on pushbikes and on foot. Before long we were surrounded by these chav’s, they targeted Simon because they knew him from secondary school, and although they shouted my name as well it was clear that it was Simon they wanted. They caught up with us and he backed off, but they edged towards him. Finally he threw his mobile phone to one side, turned and faced them. they all jumped on him, punches and kicks were exchanged. If i were in a bad mood that night i would have killed several of those b*****ds myself!!!

The problem is not how people dress, wear their hair or what music they listen to. The problem is the people who think its a problem in the first place. The thing that makes us human is our ability to be different and original. What if we were all the same, wouldnt we then be called robots? The sooner people accept others for who and what they are the better our society will be.
