Personally, I like Basshunter and Groove Coverage, but I'm not a hardened techno fan.

House: Download compilations like Ministry of Sound or Hed Kandi.

Or you could go with people like Aphex Twin.

If you have XM, 84 is sometimes a good channel to discover techno.

Also, they aren't really 'techno' but they're more like techno's next-door neighbors, anyway, Basement Jaxx and Crystal Method are really cool.
