In truth... I guess they're okay. I hadn't heard of them prior to this thread, but nonetheless I like their sound. Gabe wouldn't though since he's prejudiced against any rap ever.
gabrielwhist 01-13-2008, 06:56 PM Nah, Rage is ok. I like some of their stuff, or I used to when I was younger. Haven't heard them in a while. But Rage Against the Machine is rock Nicky, not rap.
Nicky 01-13-2008, 07:10 PM It has rap verses.
gabrielwhist 01-13-2008, 07:16 PM You mean the lyrics are spoken word. However, it has actual instrumentals, rock instrumentals to be precise.
insan3 01-13-2008, 07:59 PM Tom morello is freakin awesome
I don't really mind Zac De La Rocha, but I would have been more persuaded to go to BDO if QOTSA were there.
However... Bjork, The Arcade Fire, Spoon, LCD Soundsystem, Karnivool and Grinspoon are gonna be there.
Makes me wish I was over 18...
Backflip 01-13-2008, 09:05 PM i knew about BDO and im not australian 0.o
That's because you're special *pats head*.
Siriustar 01-13-2008, 09:27 PM I want QOTSA to come to Pittsburgh again right the fuck now, and I don't care if the tickets are $100. I will find a suitable lady-friend and bounce on the muhfuckah.
Mmm, and I wished I bought tickets for QOTSA instead of Soundwave.
Backflip 01-13-2008, 09:58 PM That's because you're special *pats head*.
