Sometime in the near future, the next version of vBulletin will be released. As this appears to be a major update, I am assuming that a number of our current addons will not be compatible until the authors update them for the new system. So as it sits right now, we will probably be starting over with a stock system with no additions. What I would like to get is everyone's opinion on what features we have here on the board that you really like, or things that make the browsing experience easier. If there is enough demand for certain things, I will see what I can do to get them ported over to the new version.

I like the new posts thing, it makes it much easier compared to other forums where you have to go into separate sections.

I like the signature images, avatars, the expansive smilies (although a basic selection should still be available).

I don't think there are any add-ons that are all that useful, except for maybe the post reporting one, and that only sometimes.

If such a feature exists, can we make it to where we can set a default font and color for all our posts? Like, say I wanted to make all my posts in BB code size 4, in maybe a dark blue or something that contrasts nicely with the color scheme and in a Monotype Corsiva font...could I just be able to go into User CP and do that?

I guess this may already exist....

Um yea, could we have the top 5 newest members, highest post counts, newest posts thing back? It was very helpful.

yeah I'm gonna work on getting some things added back in. I wanted to start over fresh though since we had a lot of excess crap added into the board.

While we're at it, it may boost flashchat's popularity if we can post and chat at the same time, without seperate windows. Or can we do that already?

I think their should be the forums and then right next to it, the chat room with a text box to type in and the window showing all of the messages, no links or anything needed.
