View Full Version : Don't you love how... Snow 11-03-2007, 11:44 PM Whenever something is wrong with someones computer it's always "a virus"? Axel 11-04-2007, 02:28 AM That wasn't the case with my comp :D. gwia 11-04-2007, 03:30 AM Either that or it was hacked. Samiam22 11-04-2007, 11:56 AM My old one was because of Viruses Trojans Adware Spyware Pop-ups Security Alerts Slow-downs Annoying sisters who go on my computer and give me all of that NOWAK 11-04-2007, 12:22 PM why is always females that do this? are they really that stupid? Snow 11-04-2007, 01:07 PM My sister thought our computer was being slow because I resized the icons on my desktop. NOWAK 11-04-2007, 01:39 PM amazing happylittleClayFox 11-04-2007, 03:34 PM My motherboard exploded on me a week ago. No viruses involved. Natus Lumen 11-05-2007, 07:21 PM Response 1: Most females don't realize that you can actually remove the casing that comes on the computer. Response 2: Because there's absolutely NO WAY it can be operator error. My mom blames me for things that go wrong with her computer because she thinks I can download viruses to her computer just because we share the same network. I guess technically if someone cared enough to hack me and then get to her computer from mine with the connection tools, that could happen, but I think I would know or at least suspect if I was hacked. Uhhh..that's how a lot of viruses spread. For example, let's say one computer at an office in HP got a virus. That virus can spread throughout the network amazingly fast. That is one of the main reasons why big businesses dish millions a year into network security. gabrielwhist 11-05-2007, 10:44 PM Hurray for Macs. Zetex 11-05-2007, 10:46 PM Hurray for Macs. http://www.macnn.com/articles/07/10/31/new.trojan.targets.macs/ Hurray indeed. gabrielwhist 11-05-2007, 10:48 PM Hurray for a link that doesn't work? Zetex 11-05-2007, 11:05 PM Hurray for a link that doesn't work? Works fine for me. Axel 11-06-2007, 12:03 AM And me. gwia 11-06-2007, 12:39 AM Hurray for Macs. Macs fail, they can't even right click. gabrielwhist 11-06-2007, 02:06 AM Works fine for me. Does now. And wow, one virus for macs. Macs fail, they can't even right click. They can if you aren't retarded. And if you are then you can just hook up a new mouse with a right click button. blackice 11-06-2007, 10:43 AM Pebkac Drunken_Shinobi 11-07-2007, 12:51 AM My sister thought our computer was being slow because I resized the icons on my desktop. Wow...that's just very...I can't even say anything to that. Macs fail, they can't even right click. Get a right click mouse on it and it will work. Samiam22 11-09-2007, 11:26 AM Thats early Macs that can't right click. Drunken_Shinobi 11-09-2007, 06:48 PM You're supposed to press control and click or something to "right click". But if you're talking about the very old and early Macs then they definitely didn't have right click because that wasn't exactly a necessary function back then. Natus Lumen 11-09-2007, 06:55 PM That and PC users are actually capable of shutting the hell up, don't have a superiority complex because they own a $1200 computer, and don't feel the need to boast every time their product does something good. Okay, I changed my mind. Mac users in general are like that. PC users with really awesome setups can be like that too, but the general majority of PC users don't treat their product like they're a pimp and the computer is their dick size in millimeters multiplied by their number of hos times 500. gabrielwhist 11-09-2007, 09:09 PM The PC users I know do... they treat me like I am a stupid asshole for having a Mac. Another follower of maddox, eh? Natus Lumen 11-10-2007, 04:40 PM Pretty much. When I read his rant on that subject I really started to notice how true it all was. Except I'm quite willing to accept that Macs are about a million times better than PCs, on average. And not just because of viruses or whatever. Nicky 11-10-2007, 09:23 PM I no longer take him seriously after seeing him actually speak in the flesh (via youtube of course :P). The guy's a complete geek. He's smart yes, I give him that... but honestly I found him way more intimidating when I just read off of his site. Honestly though... those freaky ladies who are all "OmG i want his babeez!!!!11!1!1" I really don't understand. Snow 11-10-2007, 09:39 PM Actually sometimes it's "omg my computers being messed up." Which I hate even more. @Nicky: After watching youtube videos of Maddox he seems a lot more down to earth then his website shows. He gets a little obnoxious on his site. gabrielwhist 11-12-2007, 09:36 PM I checked out the Maddox site like 6-12 months ago and like it for like 1 week, before I outgrew it. gussa 11-14-2007, 06:07 AM i came.. i lol'd.... i left... Supa Fool 11-14-2007, 09:46 PM Yea, read it once and was over it the next day. Nicky 11-15-2007, 04:53 PM Actually sometimes it's "omg my computers being messed up." Which I hate even more. @Nicky: After watching youtube videos of Maddox he seems a lot more down to earth then his website shows. He gets a little obnoxious on his site. I suppose... though it's a lot easier to express your innermost thoughts and feelings through text... so deep down, he is a prick. MeTal CaNdYcaNe 11-15-2007, 09:55 PM Are those garters in your avatar? gabrielwhist 11-16-2007, 01:40 AM I think its a kitty.
