we need something other than Religion to talk about....
im personally undecided...
its biggest pro's are that its clean(ish), its more productive than other clean energies and that us (australians) will sell a hell of a lot of it!
its cons are that its waste is dangerous in more than one aspect (i dont think i need to talk about that),
mining for it destroyes land and culture (theres a huge row over that over here at the moment... no happy aborigionals here)
and that its waste needs to be stored somewhere....
disscuss now...

actually, I don't mind nuclear power. OMG TEH WASTE!!!!
well, with the new yucca mountain project in Nevada. It'll be quite safe. unless of course, someones decides to sneak some nuclear weapons in there, but chances are it will be one of the most secure installations in American history.
Patriot missiles. maybe a tank. I don't know. They'd be stupid not to.

More often than not they use uranium for the actual tank shell.

That site is awesome, but it has nothing to do with Nuclear power, it's just an extremely popular webcomic.

I think nuclear power is only going to be used limitedly, until we master fusion.
Fusion produces like 10xs more energy and it's wastes are......helium, you would be able to go to your local plant, get a canister for free and spend your days talking in squeaky voices.
But as of yet all we have is sucky fusion which is messy and such, and will never be the worlds main energy source
