Well, my question is, Can I get drawings from flash MX into Flash 5? because I've got an MX file (and just the trial of MX) and the full version of Flash 5. Now I want to get the drawings out of the MX file into the FLash 5 file... is that possible?

If you can import files into Flash 5 (should be able to, but I don't have the program, so I don't know), then yes.
Export the drawings in your flash file. Go to File>Export>Export Image.
This will ask you what you want to save the image as, and if you want to save as a jpeg, png, bmp, or gif.
You could also export your whole movie, or bits of it. Or you could export your whole movie as subsequent images by exporting it as a jpeg sequence. Check out your options, and decide what works best for you.
Remember, File>Export>Export Image/Movie.
Never really tried it much before, so I did this right fast as an example. This is a short movie exported as a gif. Hope I was able to help.

If I export it, the drawings are .swf or.jpg or wathever, then I can't use them really good anymore...

just get somone with flash mx to save it for a lower version. if it's a swf you could always decompile it and see if that works.

If you're gonna whine about that, then just crack it like VooDoo said. Thats how I got my flash program.

If your not gonna crack it take my advice then download freehand if it's still about you can copy your vector graphics on to that allthough you need flash to work to do that.
