I watched FLCL just recently, I loved it. It started out strange but at the end you just won't care anymore... The graphic is great and the music fits... I really liked the manga page scenes, too.

I really really recommend Samurai Champloo...it's by the director of Cowboy Bebop, and like Bebop is filled with blues and jazz, Samurai Champloo is filled with hiphop music. Very funky with first-class action scenes. I think it's on Adult Swim now...

Yeah, Champloo is on Adult Swim. I haven't bothered to watch it yet. But if you say it's good, I'll give it a try.

oh and as for GiTS, the movie AND the SAC is based on the original graphic novel... they just pieced it together differently, the 2nd movie is also from the same graphic novel. - which is for sale, go pick it up.

I recommend anyone to watch the remake of Appleseed also, some of the best graphics I've ever seen, it's this strange mix of cg and cel... anyone read the positronic man by Issac Asimov? Masamune Shirow kind of thinks like him.. - The dvd's out, so you should go buy it..

Hey DBZ is what made Anime / Manga MAINSTREAM, so be thankful to the past, don't knock it because the voice dub is horrific. It's been around for at least 10+ years, so You're seeing old hash's...

Vampire Hunter D was great too, an old classic by Yosh1taka Amano, great artwork, who did a lot of Cover work for FF series..

as for fav anime, there used to be this old series, kinda dark setting, it's about a dog, with two white spots on his forehead, and his father got killed by a bear, and he fights the bears all throughout it.. it's a really good one.. kinda like kimba the lion, cept he's not biting giraffe's necks..

1.Bleach- Great anime and recomend it.
2.Naruto- also a great anime, still worth watching getting better
3.Flcl- very good short anime, definatly worth watching
4.FMA- very very good anime.
5.Cowboy bebop- worth watching
6. Monster- a weird anime, but for some reason i like watching it
7.Samurai Champloo- was a very good anime.
8.Last Exile
9.Trigun- nice anime, vash is a baby =)
10.Hellsing- also very short but very good.
11. Elfen lied- very short also but a nice anime.

On terms of anime women there are...four that come right to mind. Two are main characters, and the other two are kinda like co-stars. And, there is one episode dedicated completely to fan-service. So, for you, this is probably worth checking out.

the difference is that the way they are drawn and where it was made (i think im on the right lines)
just look at the difference in drawings
pokemon is the anime, just look at the sharper lines on and around the chin (more triangular) and the detail is better than the cartoons ive seen

Wow I must say, this is all very amusing. Although I don't really like most anime for it's the same perverted jokes about the anime characters in scantly clad clothing. (I wouldn't mind if they were real people, but they're not.) Also have you even noticed the wild hair and eye color? Or how anime shows often refer to America or Americans, and they still use Japanese names? I don’t hate anime but I don’t see what everyone sees in it.

Ok, well I just watched Kiki's Flying Delivery Service. I really liked the way everything was drawn. I have also seen:
Nausica and the Valley of the Wind
Castle in the Sky

Nausica was great.

I've never been much on those animes. But they are highly rated.

The big thing for me is that there has to be a lot of comedy, even if the anime revolves around a serious plot. I also go fo the plot. The storylines in those animes you mentioned are pretty good, but I just don't like them all that much. But, I don't dislike them either.

Excel Saga, Urusei Yatsura, Azumanga Daioh, Bleach, FLCL, Fruits Basket...I like a lot of anime. But these are probably my favorites.
Oh, and there are a few non-comedies I like...Especially Gall Force.

Since constructive criticism is the best, I'll say why I think. On both those pictures, there seems to be a little bit of distortion of some sort. On Gohan, it's mostly in his eyes; they are too off-center, and seem to be of slightly different sizes. And on Rei...hmmmm...she's a little more difficult. I think it's that the torso and arms are slightly elongated. Makes her look odd.
If those problems could be improved upon in future drawings, you'd make an excellent artist.
Oh, and I hope you don't mind my critiquing. I just think it's better to know a painful truth than a blissuful lie. :P

hehe thanks for it....thats what someone need to hear best to improve....... ishida does have a longer middle finger due to the fact that his hand is coming towards the screen but i will try and rectify it......as for gohan..hmm his eyes and the for any dbz character are really difficult cause of the eyebrows......again i will try to rectify this........as for rei....... the pic showed her like that and so i drew it as i saw it..........as for the pic quality.....i took them on a webcam and so it sucks..........i have some more to show you but i need to resize them when i do i will show them

I used to like Gundam wing but then I missed out on a weeks worth of episodes and it got confusing so I stopped watching it.

Moving the subject, Back to bad anime, like DBZ (note: these are my opinion)

DBZ is a pretty bad anime. Well, most of it. The early episodes weren't bad. DB was the best of the series. And about the fan-girls thing, some guys are that way too. Guys don't generally obsess over just one character though.

Bobobo-bobo-bobo. Yeah, that ones hard to understand. It's targeted towards a Japanese audience, so other countries and cultures have a hard time enjoying the show. Personally, I think the show is brilliant.

And Ghost in the Shell: SAC is very good too. But I like it better with the Tachikoma. The downside to this show is that the Tachikoma have more depth and character development than anyone else, and they're just AI.

I liked the movie but not the series of Ghost in the Shell.

Actually, I watched all fourteen episodes today. Awesome anime. My biggest problem with it, and perhaps only one, is how the episodes play out of order, if they were laid on a sensible timeline. But, then again, time is a tangible and traversable dimension in the show, so maybe it does make sense. =P
*Nacho also rather likes the whole Haruhi/Mikuru relation. Very remniscient of the Chizuru/Inoue relation from Bleach.
