Seker was God of Death. Horus was originally the Sky God, and son of Ra; but the sky contains the sun, moon, and stars, so we was later thought of as also being a Sun God.

It's not the symbol for any God. That I know of. I actually wouldn't doubt it if it was. The symbol does have something to do with the sun, but I wasn't aware of any relationship to any god, but it's possible.
