View Full Version : New Schools
My mum recently pulled me out of Kaleen High School where I was popular and had heaps of friends, the work was easy sure but compared to the work at my new school it was impossible.
My mum moved me to Melba High School which is a fucking derro school, today in maths we learnt how to make Bar and Line graphs! For a year 9 class that is unacceptable we had just finished up on Triginomotry (sp?) at Kaleen when I left. These people are morons, do you know what we did in Science? WE PLAYED FUCKING HANGMAN, but she said "we were studying for the test next week".
In art, we sat there talking about how disguisting this 52 year old woman was for marrying an 18 year old, In cooking we made a cake with Instant cake mix.
To make it worse the bus that picks us up, doesn't pick up any other high schools but about 5 primary schools.
Melba High is a shithole, makes me glad I'm moving back to kaleen.

Willy_Wonka 09-05-2007, 02:42 PM sounds pretty much your level ;-D
Drunken_Shinobi 09-05-2007, 02:52 PM Yay...school drama?
MeTal CaNdYcaNe 09-05-2007, 03:14 PM Uh, that sucks harder than a hooker on friday night! I would hate that. And wow, you're pretty smart if you're in trig in 9th. I'm only in geometry.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-05-2007, 05:44 PM I think Geometry is supposed to be ahead of trig because Trig is mostly about Triangles while Geometry is all shapes. Also, for us Trig is part of pre-calculus and calculus.
I allready did Geomotry, it was boring so I swapped to Trig it's really kinda easy.
viper.gtsr 09-06-2007, 06:12 PM Tell me more about it.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-06-2007, 06:47 PM A basic high school, or well...school drama thing.
Backflip 09-06-2007, 07:18 PM thats so awesome! i wanna do stuff i already learned and play hangman and actually have it count for a grade!
Drunken_Shinobi 09-06-2007, 09:17 PM Well...if you're doing that, most of the time it means you failed a class or something.
Backflip 09-06-2007, 09:19 PM well, if i didn't fail the calss and that still happened, that would rock
Drunken_Shinobi 09-06-2007, 09:21 PM Well then you probably signed up for a pretty useless class then.
Backflip 09-06-2007, 09:22 PM free, fun A+!
Drunken_Shinobi 09-06-2007, 09:33 PM Whatever...
Well I hate that school, today I just caught random busses around the city instead of going to school.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-08-2007, 11:48 AM Ooh...ditcher...
Natus Lumen 09-08-2007, 12:04 PM Trigonometry and precal are the same thing. I asked my geometry teacher about it. The way we do it at my school goes Algebra 1 -> geometry -> Algebra 2 -> precal -> calculus -> statistics. Although you can take geometry and algebra 2 in the same year, and you can take geometry as a freshman if you took pre-AP algebra in middle school.
Anyhow, I've never had to switch schools before, besides from the norm. I've always been in the same school district and I've gone to school with the same three hundred kids for the past nine to ten years, give or take a new student or two every few years.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-08-2007, 12:07 PM Hmm...strange for us it's something like, Algebra 1>Geometry>Algebra2>Pre-Calc/Stats>Calculus. I'm guessing that Trig was part of Pre-Calc because part of Trig was in the Pre-Calc textbook. I don't know if they're the same thing though.
Charles rules you all! 09-09-2007, 01:14 AM According to my text book Triginometry is in the Algebra 2 book, just more at the end.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-09-2007, 01:25 AM Hmm...well Algebra 2 does come before Pre-Calculus so maybe they're teaching you a bit of pre-calc before sticking you in there.
I learned a new word.
a Derro-
someone who dresses like they are poor, even though they arent
"Oi Ned, check out that derro in those soleless tennis shoes"
I changed back to Kaleen so Im good now.

Drunken_Shinobi 09-11-2007, 03:12 PM Huh? Whatever.
I was at Melba for a whole three days, SCARY STUFF
Rabbit face 09-12-2007, 11:55 AM sorry to hear about that GWIA. I have been at the same school (Brescia House Urshuline Convent) my whole life, since grade 0. So i am born and bred there. basically. wait does that make sense....?
all girls school.
no we are not lesbians. The teachers are.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-12-2007, 03:11 PM Hmm...feminists and women's right activists?
There so would be some lesbos there, there always are. At all schools, especially all girls schools.
MrNaPaLm32 09-13-2007, 12:41 AM When I switched schools in grade 9, I was so pissed. They switched me from integral calculus to Algebra 1. =(
What about leaving behind all your friends and stuff?

Hmm...that is pretty messed up, and weird how you're taking such an advanced subject at Freshman year.
What about leaving behind all your friends and stuff?
I'm pretty sure he doesn't care too much about that.
Rabbit face 09-19-2007, 12:47 PM There so would be some lesbos there, there always are. At all schools, especially all girls schools.
haaha maybe but not anyone I know of.
You probably wouldn't notice because they're just like the rest of us, except for dykes.

.
Rabbit face 09-21-2007, 02:56 PM huh?
MeTal CaNdYcaNe 09-21-2007, 06:18 PM .
That was giggle worthy.
