2 weeks of nothing; hoping to receive a nice big fat update. but, instead all you get is this ..

i've finally finished my finals (my excuse for laziness over the last two weeks), so i've got a whole lot of nothing to do for the next 4 months. i guess it's time for some much needed gprime improvements. if you've got any ideas to make all of our lives more amusing, drop by the forum and see what everyone thinks.

lukus001 has been bugging me throughout my finals to install the arcade mod for vBulletin. i told him after i was done i would do it, if he reminded me. i hoped he would forget ..... but he didn't. so now there's an <a href="http://gprime.net/board/arcade.php" target="_new">arcade</a> on the forum. <i>don't hurt yourself trying to beat my awesome top scores :c)</i>

after a debate of who was better at tetris between me, kewmat, and blackice <i>(kewmat somehow ended up stealing the top score)</i>, blackice suggested an official gprime tetrinet server <i>(ah.. good ol' tetrinet..</i>). we had one around a year ago, back when only 5 or 6 people visited the site. now that the traffic around here is a little higher, it'll be interesting to see how many people we can scrounge up. if you want to play, the server address is "gimpy.gprime.net", and if you want to know what the heck tetrinet is, you can learn about it at <a href="http://tetrinet.org/" target="_new">tetrinet.org</a>.

Well, I haven't done those arcade things yet, I just watched the videos, which were pretty awesome, and I loved the Parrot one :D.

gimpy.gprime.net just takes me to gprime.net!

When you copy paste it to your browser it'll just send you to the named ip adress. You need to install TetriNet, run TetriNet, go to client settings, and then paste it at server ip (either copy paste the ip adress or just gimpy.gprime.net)

fishy? i believe it's downright cheating. the time is too short to have racked up that many points. he's dominated the entire champion status. What i fear right now is that it will become a war of cheating :(

actualy if u dont hit the starting spot with your mouse at the begining of a level then it doesnt count u as started. i figured this out accidentaly.

ive got a suggestion. make a hall of fame for the top person in the arcade score thing for each game and reset the scoreboards every week or 2.

Maybe you can put some of the games on the gprime main page like Nanaca Crash and the Yeti Olympics on the arcade, those'll make great additions IMO ^^

Make sure you have your firewall settings correct and if you're behind a router, you might want port forwarding to your ip

I mean... who really cares if they hack or not... the arkade is getting to everyones head here. It was just something to provide a little entertainment for us all...

But it's the THRILL of knowing how good you are compared to others. Dirty cheaters take away that thrill and send it through a grinder.
